It can be retrieved from a telephone, tablet or computer and allows users beam their antics in to cyberspace.

On top of letting you share what you are doing it also shares your place and enables others on the website to search for people streaming near them.

The site describes itself as “the finest social platform for creating and viewing live movies”.
Why has been connected to cyber bullying?

A British teenager revealed that she’d been mercilessly bullied on the website claiming her life had been “ruined” by internet trolls.

Victoria, from Leeds, Yorks., told the BBC who trolls on the program told her to “go kill yourself” and her address was even shared on Twitter as a target for burglars.

The 18-year-old says she had been sent messages over the program of her face superimposed onto pornographic pictures.

She went to the authorities but states no arrests were made within the incidents.

Victoria stated: “I am on stress tablets today. It has knocked my confidence. I don’t go out of this home that much.”
Why has been linked to dressing?

In August of this year the app was named in a court case after a convicted paedophile encouraged a nine-year-old girl to expose herself over the app.

Glen Friend from East London was jailed for four years later he used to acquire access to young kids in the very first case of involving the app, The Independentreports.

But throughout May 2017, an intelligence-led operation revealed Friend was heavily involved, together with users, in encouraging the nine-year-old child to expose her private parts to them.

“Beyond automatic applications detection and individual moderators in place 24 hours per day, we also have resources for users to report and prevent people from their broadcasts, and we are continually improving those tools and resources for users.”
